OHSAS 18001 standard enables effective management of company’s health and safety requirements. This system provides means to develop effective methodology to ensure that health and safety hazards are identified per current processes and practices and that they are controlled. It provides systematic methodology to reduce and monitor occurrences such as injuries, incidents or accidents. To the management, the system provides proactive identification of hazards and management of controls with the aim for continually improving and reducing costs related to hazards.
